Traditional Tuscany cooking is also respected at lunch and dinner: dishes (recipes) have been passed down from generation to generation and are appreciated for their selected ingredients, from production to the origins within the surrounding areas.
The Locanda La Sosta offers quality cheeses and salted cold meats, of which Tuscany salami, (bacon,salami), seasoned salted hams and salted pork shoulder.

Other important local products are wines, extra virgin olive oil and aromatized oils chosen with care and prepared personally by the owners, to add flavour to raw meats and salads. The bread which is served comes from Montescudaio and is different from other bread because it is cooked in a wooden oven. The same time and importance is used in preparing liver and spleen pate mini toasts and cream tomato soup, panzanella, ribollita (Tuscan soup of beans, cabbage and bread),and Tuscany soup. The last of these is carefully prepared with spelt wheat, onions, porcini mushrooms and vegetables.
