The territory of Casale Marittimo is rich in archaeological testimony which demonstrates its antique origins of which the Etruscan necropolis and other tombs full of elegant funeral attire which date back to the same period.
Very interesting a visit to the antique church named after Sant’Andrea, which was transformed and adapted to house the Town Hall of Casale Marittimo; the Cappella della Madonna delle Grazie, a 1700 construction, which preserves a copy of a painting of the Senese school, and the church of San Sebastiano, which was built on the area where once there stood an old oratory and has been restored using materials from an old roman villa.

Montescudaio is a delicious rural town immersed in the typical Tuscany countryside, rich in farm holidays, vineyards, olive groves and woods: the red Montescudaio doc wine is produced from the vineyards of the surrounding hills.
From Montescudaio you can step-on the celebrated “Strada del vino” (wine road). Thanks to this road it is possible to reach all the main tourist destinations of the area.
